Apartment 1B is a ground floor apartment to the back of the building. It was the actual home of the original proprietors of the new apartments. Entry is into a comfortable living room in a cottage style. Two 2-seater couches, inglenook fireplace, TV etc. complete the sitting area and there is a 4 seater diningtable and chairs. The room has a warm, homely feel, with decorative plate-racks and copper pictures.

For those requiring to sleep more than 4 in this apartment occasionally the double sofabed is used in the livingroom. The apartment has TV with freeview (30+ TV and 20+ radio channels), DVD player, video recorder, CD and cassette player, radio and clock radio/alarm.
