Apartment 3 normally provides accommodation for 4 people. The stairlift helps visitors up one flight of stairs if necessary, and there are then 4 steps to the landing of Apartment 3 on the first floor.

The Stag dining furniture is positioned in the bay window to allow maximum benefit of ‘watching the world go by’. It also has lovely original ornate ceiling plasterwork. A couch and armchair complete the sitting area.

Apartment 3 suits families and visitors of all ages. We have had the pleasure of welcoming into it several guests of 90+ years and even had the honour of accommodating a centenarian!

The apartment has a 55 inch, curved, smart TV, full HD with freeview and Amazon Fire stick for catch up TV (BBC iplayer, ITV hub, channel 4 and 5), DVD player, video recorder, CD and cassette player, radio and clock radio/alarm.

This apartment has magnificent sea views over Cullercoats Bay and along Tynemouth Longsands to Tynemouth Priory and the Tyne piers. Binoculars are provided.

The kitchen area has been completely renewed, with integrated dishwasher, fridge, timer oven, ceramic hob. This modern kitchen has a smart high gloss cream finish.

One bedroom has a new, super king size double bed, extra long (2m) and there is room to slide in an extra bed if required.

The other bedroom has 2 single beds with new, deep mattresses and a view to the sea.

The white bathroom is fully tiled and has recently had several improvements; a new thermostatic electric shower, which controls the water temperature with + or – 1 degree C, and has higher pressure, a glass shower screen replaces the shower curtain, a new hot tank gives a fast fill bath, a new mirror with bright side lights and demist pad, new ceiling spot lighting, new bath panel and towel rails.

Booking Form

  • Please note: Beds are made up as super king as standard in all apartments, except the front, second bedrooms in apartment 3 and 5 which have 2 single beds. The super king beds can be converted to single beds, due to our special zipped mattresses, in all apartments except apartment 3 rear bedroom which is always super king. Please tell us here if you would prefer single beds, otherwise it will be super king.

Booking

Normal bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time preferably by 2p.m., check-out time by 10 a.m.

To make a reservation request please contact us then this will be recorded in our register. Please then immediately send a deposit (non-refundable) for £100 for each week reserved.

For the Great North Run week (Sept 8, 2018) the balance is due 12 weeks prior to arrival.

The reservation becomes a firm booking on receipt of your deposit and an official receipt is sent to you normally by email. The balance is due at latest 4 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or UK cheque.
